Our Coach Leadership & Networking Program aims to help you grow your skills as leaders and expand your network of coaching peers. Gain practical knowledge and strategies you can put to use in for yourself and your crews (and a useful addition to your resume). 

Dr Joann Lukins is a performance psychologist who works with sporting stars such as the Cowboys and the Townsville Fire, as well as helping individuals and businesses.

In Sessions 1 & 2, Jo will lead us through topics such as:

• Leadership for coaching and mentoring
• The mindful coach
• Resilience and navigating difficult conversation
• Effective reflections on coaching
• Team building for the coaching community

The Coach Leadership & Networking Program is supported by funding from the Townsville & JCU Rowing Club and a Club Capacity Building grant from the Townsville City Council.

These events welcome coaches and interested-in-coaching people from both of Townsville's rowing clubs and their rowing schools. 

Bring:

• Cardigan, scarf or jumper (the aircon is ferocious)
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn 
• Any questions you have about coaching 
• A pen and paper
