Learn to Row course aimed at adults

Cost: $200, includes 8-10 coached sessions, insurance, plus Club membership until 31 March. 

Session 1: Saturday February 18th, 7:00am to 9:00 am. This first session will be on land — introductions, shed induction, ergos, boat handling practice.
Session 2: Sunday February 19th, 7:00am to 9:00 am. This session includes going out on the water for a row.
Subsequent sessions (6 to 8 more): These will be on weekends, usually in the 7:00 to 9:00 am time slot.

• Note 1: If the whole group prefers to row in the late afternoon that may be a possibility.
• Note 2: It is ok if to miss a session, but let us know in advance so we can arrange the right boats and helpers.

Location: 55 Riverside Boulevard, Riverside Gardens. Underneath the Community Centre, look for the two big roller doors at the end of the second driveway.

Wear: Slightly stretchy clothes, like you might wear to the gym. 

Bring: Water bottle, cap, socks, sneakers for use on ergos, sunscreen, sense of humour, sprinkling of patience (some things are harder than they look), and a dollop of eagerness.

• Follow the instructions to apply for membership.
• Select Registration Type:  'Learn to Row' on the second screen.
• If your form submission is successful you will receive a notification on-screen and an email.
• Pay the fees online using debit or credit card. If your payment goes through successfully you will receive a notification on-screen and an email.
