Returning in 2016 after a multiyear hiatus, the Townsville Turn-Around is a fun 7 km time trial event open to all rowing boat classes.
Competitors head off one at a time from the Townsville & JCU Rowing Club pontoon, rowing down to Aplins Weir and back as fast as they can.
To participate in the event you must, at the time of the event, be a current member of a Queensland rowing club, and have competitive level Rowing Queensland registration.
