This movie is currently not planned for release in Townsville at BCC, so we have arranged a special screening in conjunction with Cathedral Rowing!

Based on the non-fiction novel about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympic games, this true story follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they're thrust into the spotlight and take on elite international rivals.

Funds raised from this event will go towards supporting the Cathedral Rowing UK tour that is planned for 2024. The Club is assisting with promotion of this event on behalf of TCS.
