The Club is governed by an elected Management Committee that meets on a monthly basis to formulate development strategies and conduct the day-to-day running of the club's affairs; Townsville & JCU Rowing Club is also an affiliated member of Rowing Queensland Incorporated.

Club legal status & AGM date

Townsville & James Cook University Rowing Club is an incorporated body. The AGM is held within 6 months of the end of the Club’s previous financial year (31 October). The Club’s constitution can be found on the web site.

Members of the Club are covered by insurance, through Rowing Queensland.  A copy of the policy is available from the office of Rowing Queensland. Any Club member who is concerned about the nature of the policy cover should read the policy. You must be a financial Club member to be covered by Rowing Queensland insurance.
